I have never held humility in high esteem. It seems to be such an outward focused demonstration of a certain kind of virtue. Somebody has to notice it in order to comment on it and acknowledge the person for having it. Who knows by degree or measure the humility of a person?
I put far greater stock in forgiveness and gratitude. Regardless if they are noticed or observed, they exist within you and make you more whole and connected to Source. And they are both so much harder as ego is in the way.
To forgive anothers trespasses against us, either real or projected, only from your side is a huge step towards your own growth and enlightenment.
And forgiving our own is an act of true redemption. What forgiveness does for ourselves and others, is allow the light of gratitude to warm our hearts and comfort our souls.
Forgiveness and gratitude create spaciousness in our minds to see the gift that life is and how each waking moment can be realized in love, joy, bliss and being present to it all
